I’ve finished up the mouth geometry, and spent a fair bit of time fixing issues with the centering of the mesh. I think in its conversion from older files, it suffered a bit of wonkiness, but I believe they’re all handled now. Back to the UV mapping and relearning my Maya shortcuts. Sheesh, what you forget in a year or so.

    Still UV unwrapping, and fitting the project into a couple of really busy days, but it is steadily in progress! As always, I use the opportunity to refine my technique and check out new workflows going on these days. I’ve picked up some good processes that I think will streamline my texturing in future.
